Terms of Service
Welcome to Garyisms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Garyisms mobile application (the "App"), owned and operated by JMOSI LLC ("JMOSI," "we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using Garyisms, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable law.
If you are under the age required to enter into a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian.
License to Use the App
JMOSI LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Garyisms solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment.
User Conduct
You agree not to violate applicable law, interfere with the App, use cheats or automation, harass other players, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
User-Generated Content
Garyisms allows players to create sentences using words provided within the game.
You retain ownership of any original content you create.
By submitting content through the App, you grant JMOSI LLC a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, and otherwise use community-recognized or featured content in connection with operating, improving, promoting, marketing, and maintaining Garyisms.
This includes, for example:
- Displaying Hall of Fame or featured community sentences.
- Sharing notable community-recognized sentences on official Garyisms Discord channels or social media.
- Including featured community-created sentences in trailers, screenshots, promotional materials, or other marketing related to Garyisms.
We will generally feature content that has been recognized by the community through gameplay or other in-app selection mechanisms.
You represent that you have the right to submit the content you create.
JMOSI LLC may remove or decline to feature content at its discretion.
Feedback
If you voluntarily submit suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, or other feedback regarding Garyisms, you grant JMOSI LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and incorporate that feedback into Garyisms or other products and services without compensation or obligation to you.
We appreciate your feedback and may use it to improve the App.
Multiplayer Features
Garyisms is an online multiplayer game. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services, scores, rankings, and gameplay data may change due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
Discord Integration
Discord features are optional and governed by Discord's own terms and privacy practices.
Intellectual Property
Except for user-generated content as described above, Garyisms and its software, artwork, graphics, animations, logos, sounds, text, and game mechanics are owned by or licensed to JMOSI LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Garyisms is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JMOSI LLC's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App during the preceding twelve months, or US $100 if you paid nothing.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JMOSI LLC from claims arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by updating the Last Updated date.
